    Job Description A Sr. Systems Administrator at Hidden Level will have broad responsibilities and use their skills, technical expertise and latest tools and technologies to create and maintain a secure and functional environment(s) for the company.

    In this role, you can expect to...

    Take administrative responsibility for the configuration, maintenance, and operation of computer systems, network infrastructure and servers:

    • Implement and administer a computer and server configuration and management solution and develop associated processes.
    • Configure, install, and manage desktop and laptop computers, servers, networks, firewalls and other critical components.
    • Determine and implement appropriate group policies to manage access, system updates, anti-virus, and threat management solutions, and more.
    • Administer Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management solutions that manage company assets.
    • Deploy and administer both physical and cloud managed servers and firewalls.
    • Develop and maintain a secure and efficient network supporting physical and cloud infrastructure.

    • Collaborate and work with all members of the company to find solutions that meet the needs of everyone.
    • Report directly to the IT Security Manager and play a major role in the growth of the company.
    • Assist the IT Security Manager with developing IT and security policies and procedures to enable all aspects of the business.
    • Help guide sensible IT decisions by working with management and teammates to create an environment of trust and productivity.

    A successful candidate may have...

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related major preferred, certifications related to computers, networking or security preferred.
    • 4+ years related professional experience including hands-on system administration and network administration experience.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overcome technical challenges through teamwork and collaboration.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with the ability to listen, question, and understand stakeholder needs.
    • Deep knowledge of IT best practices, industry standards, policies, and regulations
    • A keen attention to detail and great project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization
    • An understanding of the Microsoft Server and Desktop operating system environments.
    • An understanding of Apple and Linux Operating systems
    • Experience with Python, PowerShell and other programming languages
    • Experience with networking, both supporting physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure.
    • Experience with NIST and CMMC Compliance is preferred.
    • Experience with or the drive to learn:
      1. Certification programs such as FedRAMP, SOC-2, and similar
      2. US export regulations
      3. Cloud-based servers and solutions and their security strengths and weaknesses

    Salary at Hidden Level Inc. is market competitive and determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $80,000 to $100,000 annually. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Hidden Level Inc.'s total compensation package for employees.
