- Works directly with AI/ML scientists on optimization and production deployment of solutions
- Optimize and support large-scale GPU workloads
- Support for application deployments, not limited to but including assisting with HELM Charts, CloudFormation Templates, Jenkins Pipeline configuration, and slurm-based workloads
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support the engineering and implementation of AI/ML solutions
- Adheres to corporate standards regarding applicable corporate and divisional policies.

- Experience with CI/CD tooling and automation
- Linux
- Experience with High Performance Computing, especially GPU workload
- Recent work experience health care/life science organization is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

The Scientific and Cloud Computing team in AbbVie Information Research is looking for a highly motivated Senior AI/ML Engineer that will be responsible for the optimization and deployment of AI/ML solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS, Docker and Kubernetes/EKS, and High Performance Computing (HPC), along with multiple automation/DevOps toolsets and practices.
This candidate should have the experience and ability to provide consultation and support cloud and HPC solutions with a focus on best practices and security.
This role will be partner closely with our internal AI/ML scientists and be a primary collaborator when scaling up exploratory work and when deploying solutions into a production environment.
