    Job Description:

    • Responsible for controlling & monitoring equipment operation on municipal and private sector projects.
    • Responsible for Interfacing with Equipment Suppliers who provide instrumentation, panels, equipment, or services.
    • Coordinate the furnishing, approval, installation, testing, commissioning, and training of all electrical equipment, instrumentation, panels, and services for all aspects of the PCS.

    Salary Range:
    $65,000 to $95,000

    Desired Experience:

    • Designing, supplying, installing, testing, starting up, and commissioning of PCS's.
    • Minimum software proficiencies: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam Revu, and AutoCAD.
    • Coordinating, reviewing and the handling of equipment submittals.
    • Integration, implementation, and support of standard platforms of digital and analog processing control instrumentation equipment.
    • A thorough working knowledge of processes and control philosophy in accordance with standard practices of the industrial automation industry.
    • A thorough knowledge of relevant NEC, OSHA, MIL, NRC, ISA, SAMA, NFPA, UL and API standards, as well as all relevant state and local codes.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Generate and maintain project schedules, progress schedules, punch-lists, IO lists, instrument lists, conductor coordination documents, instrument calibration forms, equipment submittals, O&M manuals, and work plan drawings.
    • Review project specifications, P&ID drawings, process drawings, electrical drawings, installation details, etc. Develop a list of concerns or problems noted for the completion of the complete operational PCS.
    • Supervise the installation of PCS instruments, panels, consoles, cabinets, wiring, other components, and troubleshooting assistance when required.
    • Develop Maintenance of Plant Operations (MOPO) plans affecting the PCS equipment or installation activities.

    Location - Travel:

    • Daily on-site presence may be required on some projects. All Projects are located within the Phoenix metro area.
    • Milage reimbursement for traveling between sites, as well as usage of a company vehicle when available.
