Concrete Superintendent - Houston, United States - Environmental Allies

Our Construction Company is looking for a hard-working, dedicated Concrete Superintendent to join our growing team here in Houston.
The Concrete Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing roadway, highway, and heavy construction projects while coordinating all job site activities and subcontractors while ensuring safety throughout the project.
This individual will be expected to direct the project in accordance with design, budget, and project schedule timeline as planned to ensure accuracy for the client.
They will also be communicating with the Operations Managers and Project Managers daily.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Project Managers to coordinate project site logistics and scheduling daily
- Provides onsite management and coordinates with the Foreman on daily operations to ensure that proper resources are in place
- Supervise the Concrete construction process daily by being onsite
- Oversee labor production and manager material expenditures
- Coordinate with subcontractors as needed
- Monitor productively by tracking and communicating progress back to the operations team daily
- Communicate any forecasted problems or potential delays they may arise
- Interpreters and provides direction on project documents and drawings to ensure quality control
- Manage the concrete and asphalt pavement installations
- Manage construction crew and subcontractors during construction projects to ensure work was completed to scope
- Communicates maintenance issues with mechanics in a timely manner and coordinates equipment needs to the operations team
- Oversees, monitors, and ensures safety work practices
- Communicates with the Executive team to discuss project related matters
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Concrete construction including TXDot Roadway experience
- Previous Concrete Superintendent experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to understand and efficiently carry out instructions
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and vendors, by creating a positive work environment
- Management skills to oversee employees, subcontractors, and the project scope daily
- Must process a strong understanding of the company's safety policy
- Ability to work well under pressure and within established timelines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and allocate resources as needed.
- Have reliable transportation to travel in and around the Greater Houston area
- Have a valid Texas driver's licenses
- ProCore construction Management Software experience is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish/ English
- Familiarity with Heavy Equipment such as: Bulldozers, Excavators, Dirt Scrappers, Motor graders, Backhoes, and Skid steers.
Pay:
$65, $85,000.00 per year
