We are currently looking for a Locksmith, Civil Engineering Specialist, Mechanic, or Metalworker to train as a Switch Mechanic (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at our locations in Offenburg, Achern, Appenweier, Bühl, Friesenheim, Gengenbach, Kehl, Lahr, and Niederschopfheim.

Your responsibilities:

You will undergo our internal qualification program at full pay, attend regular training sessions, and continuously learn and develop with us.
You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical components on switches and signal boxes.
Within your team, you will take on tasks that you will carry out independently and responsibly. You will also maintain mechanical indoor and outdoor facilities, but your main focus will be working outdoors.
You will be responsible for creating measurement and test reports, as well as completion reports.
You will use the materials, modern equipment, and measuring instruments provided to you with care and professionalism.
