- Direct the daily activities of the global supplier quality engineering teams ensuring execution of process audits, product inspections and continuous improvement activities.
- Schedule 3rd party audits and inspections then oversee corrective/preventative action as necessary.
- Oversee the approval of daily quality reports for process audits and product inspections.
- Assist in driving the configuration and implementation of new quality systems and tools.
- Assist in the creation of internal datasets for the quality organization to identify top quality related issues.
- Assist in the creation of internal processes and procedures for the quality organization.
- Lead root cause analysis and defect mitigation plans when quality defects are identified
- Develop and own the quality segment of supplier scorecards
- Travel for extensive collaboration with domestic and international personnel
- Bachelors' Degree; or 5 years work experience in a related quality role.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, take initiative, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
