IT Advisor, Technology Consulting, (Technology Transformation - Cloud Architecture) (Manager) (Multiple Positions , Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, San Jose, CA.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, Accounting or a related field and 4 years of work experience.
Must have 4 years of advisory and/or consulting experience in technology strategy and cloud architecture.Must have at least 3 years of experience in providing advisory and/or consulting services to enterprises in one or a combination of the following:
- developing cloud financial models, including rationalizing costs;
- data center migration.
Must have at least 3 years of technical or business analyst experience in 3 of the following areas:
- data and analytics,
- virtualization,
- storage management,
- security,
- regulatory compliance,
- operations management,
- cloud technology delivery, or
- enterprise data migration.
Must have at least 2 years of technical and hands-on experience in 1 of the following: Microsoft Azure; Amazon Web Services (AWS); Google Cloud Services; or IBM cloud services.
- Managing cloud architecture programs and/or projects;
- Client interaction experience, including client presentations, meeting facilitation, and teaming skills.
Must have 2 years of project management experience within a professional services firm.
Requires travel up to 60%, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.
