This role reports directly to Manager, Team Experience/Engagement and plays a critical role in ensuring the success of engagement efforts for the AffiniPay internal team, including onsite and virtual event activations, evaluating and reporting on engagement metrics, and being a go-to team member for internal employee incentive programs, including the AOE program and Motivosity.

This analytical and creative position works with the team to create feedback mechanisms on critical measurements of employee satisfaction through various surveys and awards programs, and assists in the planning, coordination and execution of engagement driven surveys and events.


This role works directly with other members of the Experience/Engagement team to execute engagement initiatives including in-office and virtual/hybrid company events and plays a critical role in measuring the success and benefit of those events by creating and measuring post-event surveys.

This role is also focused on delivering operational results and oversees all aspects of physical workplace facilities management for our Austin and San Diego offices.


What You'll Do:


  • Partner with the Manager, Team Experience/Engagement, leadership teams, People Business Partners and employees to better understand internal team dynamics and evolving needs of the growing team
  • Create compelling engagement outreach strategies for local and remote team members
  • Maintain strong crossfunctional engagement to align efforts and provide a consistent company point of view on how to build community across AffiniPay
  • Proactively identify new ideas and formats of inoffice company experiences/events in our physical office locations and identified hub locations across North America in tandem with virtual engagement initiatives
  • Post event management including event breakdown, budget reconciliation, processing payments and conducting postevent recaps with stakeholders, as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Experience/Engagement team and other internal departments and serve as liaison for the Marketing Events Team and other internal stakeholders, as well as independently, to produce a wide variety of virtual events and experiences
  • Partner with internal departments to create scope, budget and manage execution of engagementrelated initiatives, including HackDay and other legacy experiences
  • Manage expense reporting for self, as well as Manager, Team Experience/Engagement
  • Assistance in the Award of Excellence Program Management:
  • Responsibilities include organization of timeline and messaging to the company
  • Slide creation for Quarterly meetings and AOE announcements
  • Assists in the award's trip programming and execution
  • Internal surveys and tools:
  • Survey creation, formatting and delivery to company for engagement related initiatives and postevent feedback
  • Organizes results to report out findings to leadership team and company
  • Plays a critical role in identifying areas for improvement based on survey feedback
  • Work directly with AffiniPay leadership to disseminate survey data and implement positive change throughout the organization
  • Physical Workplace Engagement:
  • Oversee office space planning initiatives and mapping of departmental seating and office flow for Austin and San Diego offices
  • Responsible for the overall inoffice experience for both staff members and guests by ensuring all office facilities are up to the AffiniPay standard, ultimately driving more inoffice engagement
  • Managing budget forecasting, RFPs, contract negotiation with vendors, communication with building management, etc. for our physical offices
  • Oversight of onsite management with vendors and support team
  • Serve as primary point of contact for building management for inoffice events in all physical locations
  • Ownership of the Virtual Engagement Workstream, including:
  • Conceptualization, creation and management of Summer Photo Contest
  • Incentive contests hosted in Slack and/or during events
  • Management of internal experience and virtual engagement tools, including: Motivosity and others
  • Maintaining Engagement team calendar and working with stakeholders to share important holidays and current/ social events throughout the US and Canada
  • Collaborate with AffiniLife leaders
  • Collaborate with AffiniCares leaders
  • Management of hybrid workplace environment
  • Oversee AffiniFlex policy
  • Tracking onsite engagement metrics
  • All Staff meeting attendance, door reporting, etc.
