Role and responsibilities:


  • Oversee operations issued by manager and ensure that all fiber splicing operations are completed in accordance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.
  • Provide trainings to employees on fiber splicing practices and methods to ensure a safe work environment
  • Plan, assign, and oversee daily production tasks to laborers and crews.
  • Assign, inspect, and track materials and vehicles needed for the daily operations.
  • Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of fiber splicing needs.
  • Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working and can make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Review and verify all daily production reports, material usage sheets, and confirm that all reports are submitted with the required documentation prior to approval (i.e. photos, signatures, receipts, etc.)
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Provide an elevated level of customer service and professionalism when meeting with customers
  • Work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of telecommunications industry experience with two years in a responsible supervisory position.
  • Provide verifiable evidence of experience independently supervising multiple crew/subcontractor resources to deliver time sensitive projects.
  • Demonstrate strong project management and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Be capable of working in all weather conditions, and perform physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift including standing, walking, climbing, driving, bending/twisting, pulling/pushing, repetitive motion, and lifting for multiple hours.
  • Possess a valid driver's license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position

  • Must have computer skills
  • Excell and adobe
  • Must be able to read and understand fiber optic designs
