Position:
Dispatcher
Seeking an experienced Logistics/Dispatcher with a minimum of 1 (one) year experience in operations, dispatch, and/or trucking. Shift is Monday through Friday, 11pm to 7pm,
minimum of two weekends per month paid on-call. Responsible for overseeing dispatching trucks and drivers, ensuring schedules are in compliance with contractual obligations. Must be able to work on-site in a fast paced, high-pressured environment.


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Dispatch drivers to appropriate contracted USPS locations according to predetermined routes
• Ensure compliance with schedules and dispatched drivers
• Act as communications liaison between drivers and the USPS
• Assure that scheduled routes are appropriately covered by utilizing available relief and extra board drivers
• Ensure drivers make ontime pickups and delivery in accordance with schedules
• Find and assign replacement drivers to cover driver absences/vacations/call offs
• Must be able to work with other Dispatcher(s) in a fastpaced environment.
• Complete dispatch functions in accordance with Company and USPS standards and procedures, including quality standards and regulations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1year experience in transportation industry.
• Knowledge of DOT and Safety guidelines a plus
• Must be a team player
• Must be willing to be
  paid oncall a minimum of two weekends out of each month. This can be done from home.

$36,600.00 per year
