As a Lead Nurse, you will provide services to patients during their treatment at the facility. You will supervise and administer proper doses of the prescribed treatment to patients while maintaining proper documentation. You will supervise the work to create an environment of long-term recovery.


Pay Range:

- $26/hr to $30/hr

Requirements:


  • LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician in good standing with the State of California
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, catering to a high volume of patients daily
  • Flexibility in schedule and location
  • Travel may be required

Responsibilities:


  • Review patient information to ensure correct dosage amounts of patient medications are administered
  • Dispense controlled and noncontrolled medication per physician's orders
  • Observe patients
  • Consult with clinic doctors regarding any changes in dosage
  • Implement all aspects of receiving, storing, and dispensing controlled and noncontrolled substances.
  • Document and sign entries inpatient treatment records as required by applicable federal and state regulations
  • Prepare, stock, and maintain exam rooms and dispensary
  • Possibly working on an "Oncall" basis when needed

Education:
Preferred

  • Technical/other training or better in Nursing

Licenses & Certifications:
Required

  • LVN
  • Licensed Psychiatric Tech
