Neighborhood House is looking for a part-time Development Assistant to support the Development Department in all fundraising and marketing areas.


Position Qualifications:

  • Must embrace the mission of Neighborhood House Association
  • Must have 2 years of higher education in PR and Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Deadline driven and detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and passionate communicator
  • Excellent relationship management, interpersonal, and multidisciplinary project skills
  • Experience with PowerPoint, CANVA, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook

Position Essential Duties:

  • Oversee production of social media materials and posting schedule
  • Develop innovative content that enhances Neighborhood House's current social media presence
  • Assist in the curation of donor correspondence including written and digital communications
  • Support program directors by creating promotional materials
  • Develop and maintain media contact list
  • Draft press releases for events and activities
  • Support Development Director in planning and implementing events
