Role Overview:

The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for accurately completing tasks essential to the movement of product through our distribution center.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and Pack product for outbound customer orders
• UPS Shipping and invoicing of customer orders
• Receiving and processing of inbound shipments from vendors and /or returned orders from customers
• Inventory Control tasks such as cyclecounting, replenishment of onhand inventory and participation in periodic physical inventories
• General warehouse upkeep to include sweeping, vacuuming pharmacy, dusting and trash removal, along with other duties as necessary
• Support the operational activity of other product lines or companies as necessary
• Loading/Unloading of shipping and receiving trucks as necessary
• Minimal clerical duties may be required
• Performs other duties, as assigned
• Safe operation of hand trucks and other equipment

Qualifications:


Training and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 12 years' previous pick/pack/ship experience in a warehouse environment required; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

• Knowledge of basic PC skills and ability to type at a reasonable pace
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
• Ability to be a selfstarter, followthrough and have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Qualifications:

The position requires the ability to stand, stoop, bend, and walk frequently during the shift, up to 8 hours; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves.

Incumbent needs to consistently be able to lift up to 50 lbs.


Working Conditions:

Office environment and occasional exposure to manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions.
