We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our assisted living facility and keep our seniors ageing in place


Requirements Snapshot:

  • Lead and direct the overall operation in accordance with resident needs, government regulations and company policies to maintain excellent care for the residents while achieving the facility's business objectives.
  • Implements assisted living objectives as determined and directed by the corporate team. Serves as a leader who will set the vision, operating philosophy and tone of the residence.
  • Authorizes purchases of supplies and equipment within budgetary guidelines established by the corporate team.
  • Interprets personnel practices within policy guidelines and recommends changes as necessary.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with residents, relatives and employees.
  • Works with the marketing team to monitor admissions and customer flow.
  • Promotes favorable public relations and represents the facility as required, specifically with those businesses that influence the senior market.
  • Maintains full compliance with all government laws and regulations regarding the operation of the property.
  • Consistently analyzes relevant operational data and effectively presents recommendations and conclusions in a timely manner.
  • Oversees and guides department managers in the development and use of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and evaluates the work performance of assigned personnel as well as counsel/discipline assigned personnel according to established company personnel policy.
  • Interviews and hires staff positions within the building as necessary.
  • Ensure Case Management is being handled appropriately, and provide support for case management professional.
  • Ensure responses for any plan of corrections or deficiencies, as noted by New York State Department of Health, are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Understanding of all supplemental services brought for benefit of the residents and working with said services to ensure proper delivery and execution.
  • Puts customer service first; ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals needs and rights.
  • Concerns his/herself with the safety of all residents in order to minimize the potential for fire and accidents. Also, ensures that the location adheres to the legal, safety, health, fire and sanitation codes by being familiar with his/her role in carrying out the sites fire, safety and disaster plans and by being familiar with current Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Performs all other duties as requested.
Must be a strong leader with great communication skills and a willingness to work both hard and smart


Pay:
$90, $120,000.00 per year
