The
LVN Nurse at ActivCare will provide direct nursing care to the residents with Alzheimer's and related dementias as needed.

Licensed Vocational Nurse Responsibilities:

• As our health care team leader, the
  LVN Nurse will oversee the care of our residents and the caregiving team.
• Strong critical thinking skills as it relates to symptoms, diagnosis, and problem solving.
• Interface with doctors, pharmacists, and medical personnel as an advocate for the community's residents.
• The
  LVN Nurse documents notes of daily resident care and oversees medication management.
• Be mindful of resident safety, your safety, and the safety of your teammates.

Requirements of the
Licensed Vocational Nurse:

• Must be currently licensed as an
  LVN or
  LPN in the state of California.
• First Aid training is required.
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and English proficiency test.
• Experience providing residential care to the elderly preferred.

The successful applicant must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and English proficiency test. Must be authorized to work in the United States and have reliable transportation.
