    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Longmont, CO. This person will be helping support a closed-door pharmacy with one of the larger pharmaceutical organizations in the US. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality patient care and ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our pharmacy operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Fills and packages prescription items for dispensing and delivery, labels products appropriately, and participates in the periodic inventory. May also check on supplies, stock shelves, and remove out-of-date items from the inventory.
    • Prepares various forms of products, including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding. Communicates with internal and external customers in a professional manner and may process returned medications for credit or destruction.

    Qualifications
    - Pharmacy Technician Certification
    - Experience in LTC pharmacy, critical care, hospital settings, and acute care
    - Proficiency in patient service, patient care, IV infusion, medical terminology, intake, and aseptic technique
