We are currently seeking a Senior Channel Market Sales Representative for our Norwalk location. Compensation at Pearson is based on various factors such as skill set, experience level, and location.

As required by laws in Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State, and New York City, the pay range for this position is as follows:
Minimum full-time salary range of $60,000 - $62,000.

This position is also eligible for participation in a sales incentive plan, and information on benefits offered can be found on our website.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage, renew, and acquire new business in a specific geographic region
  • Conduct outbound calls and prospecting
  • Provide customer solutions and presentations, both over the phone and in person
  • Close new sales and renewals over the phone
  • Overcome objections and resolve concerns
  • Attend local events and tradeshows to support territory growth
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales
  • Collaborate with Onboarding and Support teams to improve customer satisfaction
  • Complete assigned certifications to understand the platform and enhance the customer experience
This position will require 20-30% travel.


Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience selling to IT Training Centers, Higher Education Institutions, and other assigned markets
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Impressive presentation skills
  • Detailoriented and organized
  • Ability to manage
