Description
Repairs and Routine Maintenance- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks
- Work together with tenants and Maintenance Supervisors to resolve issues and find solutions to common maintenance concerns
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers
- Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, appliances, and structural components
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenses
- Provide daily updates to the Maintenance Supervisor regarding maintenance request status and ongoing projects
- Emergency Maintenance
- Address emergency maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with property management teams to develop and implement emergency response plans
- Unit Turnovers
- Able to perform unit turnover punch list in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist other team members in completing there list
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, or experience in related fields
- Strong mechanical background, and knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall repairs, and HVAC
- Ability to troubleshoot and address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
- Detail oriented with a commitment to high quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting and climbing ladders
