Are you passionate about meticulous and precise work? Do you have a knack for computers and a love for high-tech? As a machining mechanic, you are an expert in highly precise work down to the thousandth of a millimeter.

You use conventional or computer-controlled machine tools to produce metal workpieces and assemblies. This involves programming the machine's control, setting the machining mechanism precisely, and monitoring the quality.

Start of training:
September 1, 2024
Training duration: 3.5 years (possible to shorten)

Requirements:

At least a qualified secondary school leaving certificate
Technical understanding and interest in information technologies
Enjoyment of manual work and manual dexterity
Ideally, first internship experience
Good communication and teamwork skills

Part production (grinding, turning, milling)

Tool and fixture construction
Quality assurance
