Description

We seek a qualified youth ice hockey instructor to instruct kids between 7 and 14 years old during a week-long ice hockey clinic.

The clinic will be designed for beginners, and advanced beginner kids picking up the sport for the first time, or perhaps wanting to improve their fundamentals as they are in the early stages of competing at a park district or rec level.

The camp will run just 1 week long this summer, so this would be a GREAT way for a youth coach or instructor to commit to just a single 40 hour week at one of the finest ice arenas in the city.

There WILL be opportunity to work other ice hockey clinics, leagues or programs beyond this one as we are able to secure them.

The instructor we seek has knowledge and experience playing/coaching/officiating ice hockey, who is GREAT with kids, and who has the patience and instructional skills to execute the clinic in close collaboration with the Hockey Clinic Program Director.

The ideal instructor will be within a 30 minute drive of the venue in Chicago, have reliable transportation, and can pass a background check.

Obviously, the person must ALSO be available to work the full week when the Clinic is offered.
