Overview:
Agrati, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team.
The Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods within our organization's supply chain.
This role involves overseeing various aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and distribution.The Logistics Specialist ensures that products are efficiently transported from suppliers to our facilities and then to customers, meeting quality standards and delivery deadlines.
They collaborate closely with internal teams, external suppliers, and transportation partners to streamline processes, minimize costs, and enhance overall logistics performance.
The Logistics Specialist also monitors inventory levels, tracks shipments, and resolves any issues or delays that may arise during transit.
By leveraging their expertise in logistics and supply chain management, the Logistics Specialist contributes to the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain network.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and scheduling the pickup of international ocean inbound shipments from
- Managing freight couriers moving freight between our facilities and suppliers.
- Tracking and monitoring shipment costs and productivity processes.
- Resolving any issues or problems related to shipment or delivery.
- Carrying out timely operations for inbound and outbound activities.
- Ensuring accurate and searchable data.
- Developing, maintaining, and sharing key KPIs.
- Good at followup and wellorganized.
- Communicating with suppliers to ensure that they can provide accurate documents and meet the order requirements.
- Following up with customs broker and managing timely customs clearance.
- Coordinating with the transportation team to arrange timely pickup and delivery.
- Organizing and filing various documents and consolidating data for daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Determining shipping needs based on the type of product being shipped and the location where it will be delivered.
- Completion of other tasks as assigned by the department manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or logistics.
- Selfmotivated individual.
- 5+ years of experience in FTL & LTL.
- 5+ years of experience in international ocean inbound shipments.
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and computer skills.
- Willingness to work under pressure and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
- Outstanding learning and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Pay:
From $65,000.00 per year
