- Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.
- Know, understand, and follow department policies and procedures.
- Maintain manufacturing workflow daily by reviewing jobs, requirements, leading team meetings, troubleshooting and resolving daily stockroom issues.
- Maintain records as appropriate for customers, quality and personnel; review processes and procedures as needed.
- Review engineering process drawings and work with Engineering on continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency in the raw material shear operations.
- Maintains quality by establishing, monitoring, fostering and enforcing company quality standards. Collaboratively works with others on finding a resolution for any quality issues.
- Resolves personnel problems through effective inter-personal communications by analyzing situations, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action to management.
- Monitor employee production, quality, time and attendance.
- Hire and train all personnel on the proper use of equipment and machinery in compliance with established safety practices.
- Maintains safe, clean work environment and conduct equipment maintenance as needed.
- Initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation with staff members and subsidiaries.
- Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.
- Other various duties as needed or as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three to five years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
- Basic computer proficiency and functional knowledge with applications
- Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/projects along with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment in a self-directed manner and complete projects on time.
- Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc.).
- Ability to negotiate with others to arrive at a conclusion using compromise, persuasion, influence, rationale, and diplomacy.
- Foster a collaborative team environment with open communication, identifying problems and establishing resolutions.
- Strong willingness to wear multiple hats and a "Do whatever it takes" type of attitude; written and verbal communication skills; and desire and ability to learn.

Job DescriptionSupervises employees who use a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, hand carts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products or goods within a plant, office, or warehouse. Oversees the processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment. May assist in selecting appropriate containers and wrapping methods for materials to be shipped or stored. Coordinates with engineers, shippers, carton manufacturers, and carpenters for special crating and packing requirements. Supervises employees who maintain records and check invoices/bills of lading.
