This is a 0.80 FTE position. Scheduled hours between 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to:

  • Serve as the patient's nutrition advocate.
  • Provide evidencebased medical nutrition therapy to patients of varying acuity levels including management of enteral nutrition initiation and advancement, per the nutrition related protocols.
  • Maintain professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

Education:

Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field

Preferred - Master's Degree in Nutrition or related field


Work Experience:

Minimum - One (1) year of clinical and nutrition related experience

Preferred - Two (2) years of clinical and nutrition related experience


Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Certification/Licensure as required by the State of Wisconsin
  • Illinois Licensed Dietetic Nutritionist credential for interstate practice as required by the State of Illinois for RDNs in the ambulatory setting within 3 months of employment
Preferred

  • Certified specialist as required for the position or ability to complete within the first two years of employment
  • Maintain CPR certification

This 469,000squarefoot ambulatory facility will house many specialties, including women's complex care, adult cancer care, advanced imaging and laboratory services and innovative clinical trials. It will be located across from East Madison Hospital on Eastpark Blvd. and is slated to open in fall 2024.
