ROLE PURPOSE/:


The
Direct Mail and Mid-Level Specialist is a full-time, hybrid, exempt, benefits-eligible position based in any of our GPUS-approved states _(CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, ME, MD, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OR, WA, VA)_ and needs to be willing to wok East Coast hours a minimum of 2 times per week.

This role reports to the Direct Mail and Mid-Level Senior Manager and is represented by the Progressive Workers Union.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:


Process Coordination:


  • Coordinate caging processes, working with our direct mail agency as well as caging agency to ensure data is properly inputted, donors are properly acknowledged
  • Coordinate with other departmental channels to ensure midlevel donor's user experience is coordinated
  • Route all copy and creative for approvals through Greenpeace stakeholders

Project Management:


  • Ensure campaign costs are tracked and reconciled, reporting out variances to approved campaign budget
  • Manage the building of all direct mail redirects and donation pages. Create source codes, activist codes and build the donation pages that correlate to the URLs that are printed on all of our monthly Inc and fund mail pieces.
  • Ensure we are meeting deadlines for direct mail production schedule and production plans provided by agency partners by being project lead on the scheduling for strategy and copy meetings as well as laying out timelines and managing the approval of copy from both programs and legal.
  • Review and approve mail plans, proofs, data scans, and laser setups for accuracy during all stages of the production process for direct mail and annual giving/planned giving
  • Proofread copy; work with external writers and designers to create and traffic copy and art for the marketing team
  • Work closely with Direct Mail and Mid-Level Senior Manager to design midlevel strategies across the department
  • Project manage and implement midlevel strategies outside of direct mail in collaboration with our Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Digital, and Monthly Giving programs

Collaboration and Communication:


  • Work closely with Direct Mail and Mid-Level Senior Manager to design midlevel strategies across the department
  • Work with the internal Data Department to ensure the accuracy of data, and the smooth transfer of data to external vendors
  • Work with the Finance Department to ensure proper allocation of department funds and payment of invoices
  • Act as the liaison with the Supporter Care Team on escalated donor issues and other fundraising questions, bringing these issues to the Direct Mail and Mid-Level Manager when applicable

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


Knowledge and Experience:


  • Minimum 3 years experience working with direct mail
  • Exposure to middle donor programs and digital fundraising a plus
  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite
  • Basic background in statistical analysis
