MUST HAVE RELIABLE VEHICLE AND BE WILLING TO TRAVEL. WE WORK IN TRURO, PARRSBORO, AMHERST, PICTOU, HRM AND WINDSOR.

You will assist our team in various renovations and maintenance work including the routine landscaping of our rental properties. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the maintenance and renovation industry and develop your skills.


Duties:

• Assist in the maintenance of landscapes by mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize power tools and equipment to perform various landscaping tasks.
• Making runs for materials
• Doing clean up on job sites
• Helping to set up work sites
• Assisting the team members to meet their dead lines
• Doing regular maintenance and landscaping for rentals.
• Assist with measuring, cutting, and shaping materials
• Operate power tools and hand tools under the guidance of experienced workers
• Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding and other temporary structures
• Perform caulking, construction painting, and other finishing tasks
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of power tools and hand tools commonly used in carpentry work
• Basic understanding of construction techniques and materials
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and lift heavy objects as needed

• Knowledge of plumbing principles
• Knowledge of basic electrical
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
