About the Opportunity

Supporting the Sr. Director of Risk Management, the Property & Casuality Insurance Specialist is crucial for managing W.B. Mason's Total Cost of Risk. This role allows for a Hybrid work setting, combining remote and in-office work with in-office training required, based at our Corporate Headquarters in Brockton, MA.


Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • - Claims Management and Administration:
    • Auto Liability, Auto Physical Damage, General Liability and Workers' Compensation claim oversight and analysis
    • Monthly/quarterly loss reporting, trend identification, and issue resolution
    • Manage property damage claims outside insurance program
    • Monitor risk indicators and implement corrective actions
    • Participate in claim reviews
  • - Insurance Renewal:
    • Maintain property values schedule
    • Collect insurance renewal documents
    • Experience with Property/Casualty programs
  • - Certificates of Insurance and other duties:
    • Process Certificates of Insurance requests
    • Handle Workers' Compensation filings and vendor management
    • Manage insurance payments and invoices
    • Ensure compliance with insurance requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Enjoys fast-paced environments and multitasking
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Organized, self-motivated, with Property/Casualty experience
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
  • BS/BA Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of risk management or insurance experience
  • Strong analytical skills
Minimum Qualifications

Successful candidates must be able to perform all duties effectively.

Physical Demands

The job requires standing, walking, speaking, hearing, and data entry. Lifting up to 20 pounds may be necessary.
