    In partnership with our chemical manufacturing client, we are seeking a Blend Technician to be based in Houston, TX (Southbelt/Ellington area).

    This is a long-term contract, with potential for conversion to a full-time employee based on performance and internal availability.

    As a Blend Technician, you will blend quality products in compliance with the RCMS, ISO 9001, and all standard operating procedures, as well as handle shipping, labeling, and packaging in order to meet customer demand on a daily basis.


    You will:
    Understand and comply with all applicable internal and external health, safety, security, and environmental policies. Follow established procedures as described in ISO-9001 and RC-14001 Blend, package, and ship quality products in compliance with Quality and HSES Standards Print and complete batch sheets Follow detailed blend recipes Safely perform operating tasks using a variety of chemical processing equipment Organize work to meet multiple tasks Load and Unload bulk raw materials from tanker trucks and ISO containers Package material into containers (pails, drums, totes, etc.)

    Prepare and ship samples for lab analysis Pull orders and label appropriately Keep the warehouse clean and organized Operate forklift in a safe manner Support cycle counts and physical inventory Ensure customer satisfaction with all productsYou have:

    a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and reading skills, ability to lift 70 pounds, ability to read and interpret work instructions, and good computer skills.


    We are looking for someone who:

    keeps safety at top of mind at all times, works well in a team environment, has the ability to move drums weighing up to 450 lbs.

    with proper equipment, and has excellent attendance.

    It will really wow us if:
    you have SAP knowledge, forklift certification, knowledge of pumping operations, tank operations, and filtration equipment, knowledge of chemistry and chemical hazards,Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PMPay rate: $19/hr
