- Delivering pediatric clinical care to a diverse patient group in an outpatient environment within a large academic health center;
- Sharing on-call responsibilities with other faculty members;
- Supervising and educating fellows, residents, and medical students;
- Conducting fundamental, translational, and clinical research for publications and grant applications;
- Contributing to committees and fulfilling other academic faculty obligations such as community engagement, advocacy, and/or leadership at regional and national levels.

The University of Miami Health System is looking for an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pulmonary Pediatrics.
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is in search of a full-time pediatrician with a dedicated interest in offering continuous care to a varied patient community in an outpatient setting and instructing fellows, residents, and medical students in outpatient patient care. The role is at the assistant/associate professor level on the clinical educator path. There are opportunities for research.
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
Candidates should hold an MD/DO degree, be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology, and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida. Proficiency in multiple languages (English/Spanish/Creole) is a plus.
