As a Wholesale Tree Nursery Salesman, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our company by generating and maintaining sales of our nursery's inventory.

You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with commercial clients and assisting them in selecting the right trees and plants for their specific landscaping needs.

This role demands a passion for horticulture and the ability to communicate effectively while providing exceptional service.

- $80,000 Base Salary

  • 3% commission (Paid biweekly) with the opportunity for commission to increase.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Providing exceptional service throughout the customer's experience.
  • Communicating effectively inperson & over the phone to discover the wholesale customer's wants and needs.
  • Selling AND Closing a customer based on their wants and needs
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of our products and appropriately recommending them to our valued customers.
  • Navigating and using various provided computer programs as selling tools.
  • Seeking out opportunities for selfdevelopment, participating in training, and welcoming feedback.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships and demonstrating excellent teamwork.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Must have at least 10 years of direct experience in selling trees and landscaping
  • Must have experience in a B2B selling environment
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for sales growth
  • Must have knowledge of plants, agricultural, landscape, hardscape, and installation
  • Must have existing customers, and a network of contacts
  • Develop relationships and listen to customer needs to identify areas of sales growth and customer retention.
  • Must be able to negotiate very large and highticket agreements
  • Must be able to work in a face paced environment

Education:
Four-year degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)

Physical requirements/Working conditions:

Primarily working in a basic office environment: ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, use stairs, reach, pull and lift objects up to 15 lbs.

Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind.

OTHER:
Subject to MVR and Criminal background check.
