PURPOSE
Manages and coordinates activities related to inventory across the Arizona Marketplace.

This includes both physical inventory processes and the management of inventory levels, turns, and return on investment by performing the following duties and supporting location Managers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determines and implements "Best Practices" with location Manager relating to cycle counts and physical inventories, purchasing and receiving procedures, manufacturing practices relating to BillofMaterials and WIP, and yard management as it relates to inventory control.
  • Supports location Mangers on auditing processes and reviews of audits, which includes remedial training as needed.
  • Supports locations within BisTrack to create or review SKU's, review or create UOM's, stock adjustments, average cost adjustments, review negative stock and month end processes.
  • Train and support team members as needed for their roles.
  • Supports area, market or location projects and other tasks assigned.
  • Supports location Managers to identify and resolve inventory control concerns.
  • Determines and monitors for "at risk" inventory dollars with location Managers. This would include identifying obsolete, dead, damaged, or otherwise nonperforming inventory items.
  • Schedules, observes, and reports results for physical inventories with location Managers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a fouryear college or university preferred.
  • Or four (4) years related experience and/or training.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.


  • Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles helpful.
  • Oral communication
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in situations; listens and gets clarification responds well to questions.
