    Job Summary


    As a Business Development Representative, you will establish relationships with potential customers through research and communication, from first contact until you schedule a meeting with a Sales Executive.

    You will fully realize the prospect and organization's needs and determine how FranklinCovey can provide value. In turn, this will be presented to the prospect through a variety of methods. This position will focus on our Canadian markets.

    Essential Job Functions


    Create an on-going business development and brand awareness strategy fora list of target organizationsutilizing assets and experiences created by corporate marketing.

    Researchtarget organizations,decision makers,andinfluencerstocreate prospecting strategies.

    Build outaccounts in Salesforce (CRM) with new leads and contactsto populate touchpoint campaigns.

    Utilize a combination ofcold calls, emails, social media,marketing,and automated systems tocontactengaged prospects.

    Scheduleexploratorymeetingsbetweenclients andSales Executiveto move opportunities forward.

    Update and clean CRMdatabase.

    Basic Qualifications

    1+ year(s) working in a business development, sales, marketing, or lead generation role.

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    Business development, sales, marketing, or lead generation experience in a B2Band/or SaaSenvironment.

    Proficiency in cold calling and discovery conversations preferred.

    French (Canadian) language proficiency.

    Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce and sales automation systems such as

    Familiarity with the industry and market dynamics relevant to FranklinCovey solutions is a plus. Understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape helps in identifying growth opportunities.

    Communication and Relationship Building:
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfortability interacting with prospectsviaphone, chat, and othermethods.

    Energized by continual growth, both professionally and personally.

    California - Anticipated compensation for this position is $65-70k base plus $5-7k variable pay.

    Actual offer may be outside of this range and will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
