Description
McGee Air Services is looking for a detail-oriented Station Training Manager to lead our best-in-class training team for our San Francisco - Bay Area Stations.
- The pay band for this role is $76,861 $115,291_
The Hiring Target for this role is $87,500 - $97,500
The Manager Station Training (Bay Area) will be responsible for ensuring the education and preparation of our staff in baggage handling procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate training programs effectiveness with an eye toward continuous improvement
- Assess employees' skills, and performance, creating improvement plans as necessary
- Develop and deploy training BDP's, including trainer certifications, records management in the LMS, tracking, and training guidelines required by industry partners
- Lead and mentor a team of trainers and coaches ensuring consistency with training content and experience for both classroom and onthejob training
- Ensure training is compliant with company policies and all regulations of federal, state, and local airport authorities
- Demonstrate and maintain open and honest communication, creating an inclusive, engaging, and highperformance culture that demonstrates McGee's values
- Collaborate with station leadership on special projects
- Develop stationspecific training as needed, in collaboration with the Training Content Specialists or SMEs
- Partner with the Corporate Training Team, Recruiting, and Onboarding to ensure a smooth and robust pipeline from hiring through training
- Partner with Safety to include current safety initiatives in all training efforts, reviewing performance data to identify gaps in training
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Two years of training oversight/management experience required
- Previous supervisory experience effectively coaching and mentoring teams required
- Proven experience in designing and executing successful training programs preferred
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced, highly fluid environment
- Teamoriented and flexible in approach to change and type of work assigned
- Passion for customer service and high expectations for quality and accuracy
- Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training
- High school diploma or equivalent required; BS in education or relevant field preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
