Description

Position Summary:

Provides supervision to clients and RBTs remotely and in client home throughout DC. Provides training to new hires. _
This is a part-time position that is about half clinical and half training. _Position is hybrid and offers a $25 a day travel stipend when BCBA see clients in the field.


Essential duties and responsibilities:


Clinical

  • Conduct telehealth and in person supervision of staff and clients
  • Observe students and update programing using innovative ideas at least 10% of all hours
  • Train family members, teachers, and other providers on implementation of behavioral interventions. Update at least once every 6 months
  • Provide emergency response and crisis intervention as needed
  • Conduct intake assessments and FBAs as needed
  • Provide written and verbal feedback to ABA therapists at each supervision session
  • Attend IEP meetings for clients as needed and collaborate with other providers as appropriate
  • Other tasks as assigned

Administrative

  • May need to create materials like token boards etc
  • Support with insurance renewal reports for reauthorizations as appropriate

Training

  • Support with lecture style training for all new hires, in person or virtually (trainings are premade and are 23 hours each)
  • Shadow in person and virtually client sessions with new hires
  • Support to ensures trainees are set up in systems
  • Support with trainee training schedules
  • Support with tracking trainee status in training (ie that they are taking their online classes or registered for their NPI)

Education/Experience Requirements:


  • Master's degree required
  • BCBA credential required

Physical requirements:


  • Must be able to sit on the floor
  • Must be able to run after a student

Language Skills:


  • Must speak and understand English

Technical Requirements:


  • Must be proficient in gsuites (gmail, google calendar, and google meet)

Work Environment:


  • Travel to client homes throughout DC, train virtually, also supervise remotely. No office location.
  • Business hours are M-F days a week 9:00 am to 7:30 pm and Saturdays 9am3pm. Most sessions are between 3:30 pm and 7:30 pm
