- This hybrid position will be required to work in our Corporate Office at least one half day per week based on your team's schedule
- Create new, validate, and revise existing Trade and Packaging Specifications following current business rules
- Responsible for moving Trade and Packaging specifications throughout workflow and assigning tasks to correct contacts
- Maintain trade and packaging specifications for assigned commodities, including making revisions/ versions and retiring former versions as products and/or artwork change
- Research, enter, and validate all required product attributes and upload related documents for Kroger Corporate Brands and Kroger Manufacturing products
- Ensure that all components of product hierarchy are properly linked with all related specifications
- Coordinate with Corporate Brands and Manufacturing partners including Corporate Food Technology, Package Engineers, Packaging Managers, Category Strategy Managers, Manufacturing Plants, etc. to obtain, enter and/or validate all relevant product attributes for the particular Trade and Packaging Specifications to ensure 100% accuracy
- Manage time and priorities and coordinate with Corporate Brands and Manufacturing partners to meet all deadlines for publishing and completing specifications by the given due date
- Successfully incorporate changing priorities and processes into workload
- Manage trade and packaging specification work as defined above in the Oracle PLM system, as well as maintain specific details on that work in a SharePoint Tracking System
- Perform analysis of categories on both a scheduled and ad hoc basis
- 4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Data management experience preferred
- Experience with CPG products preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Capacity to learn multiple computer systems and web based applications
- Experience functioning in a Corporate Office environment preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Capability to collaborate with others and contribute effectively to a team
- Expert organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to:

Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:
Support the Kroger Corporate Brands and Kroger Manufacturing product data management process from an administrative and data research, collection, and entry perspective. Assist Corporate Brands and Kroger Manufacturing in successfully creating and managing Trade and Packaging Specifications in the Global Specification Management (GSM) module of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) application. Create, validate, approve, maintain, and publish accurate, detailed product specifications according to the set business rules for assigned commodities.
