- S4/HANA Migration: Drive the migration from legacy SAP systems to S4/HANA across the organization. Define migration plans with business teams, ensure timelines are met, and minimize disruptions.
- Lead SAP Fit to Standard Strategy: Configure SAP software and adopt best practices in supply chain, finance, and HR.
- Vendor Management: Supervise relationships with SAP providers, integrators, and consultants. Select vendors, negotiate contracts, and uphold service agreements.
- SAP System Operations: Ensure reliability and performance of the current ECC system while building a reliable S4/HANA system. Establish dual system architecture for incremental rollouts.
- SAP System Governance: Implement governance processes for compliance, security, and data integrity. Set standards for SAP system management.
- Team Management: Train current and new team members in SAP S/4HANA. Provide mentorship and support.

Position Summary
The Senior Director, SAP - IT will report to the Vice President, Energy Systems & Solutions. This role will play a key part in leading the Propel program at PG&E. This program involves a complete business transformation along with migrating SAP from ECC to S4/HANA. The Propel program aims to bring substantial business value to our engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and HR departments.
The technical aspects will include essential components of the SAP S/4HANA application and related platforms, to be finalized during the program's design phase. You will oversee external partners and internal IT resources to implement the program. Collaboration with the Business Process Transformation team will be crucial to ensure the technical solution aligns with business objectives.
This role will be based at PG&E headquarters in Oakland, California. The ideal candidate should be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay area if not local, and commute to the Oakland, CA office at least three days a week.
PG&E is offering a competitive salary range tailored to the job's location. The actual salary will depend on various factors such as skills, education, experience, and market conditions.
