    Description

    Job Title: Shipping Receiving Specialist

    Department: Shipping/Warehouse

    Reports to: Warehouse Manager

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Job Duties

    The Shipping/Receiving Specialist is responsible for packing and preparing customer orders for shipping, receiving material and equipment, and loading and unloading trucks following established procedures and shipping regulations to meet customer delivery requirements. Daily tasks include:

    • Ensure product quality and packaging meets customer specifications
    • Collaborate with team members for efficient operations
    • Work successfully to meet deadlines without waste

    Requirements

    • Proficient operation of various forklifts
    • Hand loading of product onto trucks
    • Accurate data entry in ERP systems
    • Skills in reading tape measurements and basic mathematics
    • Effective communication and teamwork
    • General computer proficiency
    • Ability to work independently and in diverse environments
    • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds

    Responsibilities

    • Picking, loading, and billing products for shipment
    • Completing quality checks and receiving incoming products
    • Maintaining accurate data records and communication
    • Moving finished products to designated areas

    Schedules

    Shipping Receiving Specialist role has opportunities across three shifts: 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, and 11pm - 7am.

    Education and Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 6-12 months of warehouse experience
    • Forklift Certification within 30 days
    • RF equipment familiarity preferred

    Physical Demands

    The role requires physical stamina to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with repetitive motions and coordination.

    Work setting includes typical manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
