Global Corporate Communications is a new group comprised of Public Relations, Enterprise/Internal/Employee Communications and Events. We are more than 20 people strong with lots of talent, energy, and enthusiasm. We cultivate a supportive team environment and never take ourselves so seriously that we can't enjoy a laugh together. The Dexcom Global Events team is afforded the opportunity to showcase the best parts of Dexcom to the world.

From the largest international diabetes focused conferences and tradeshows to National Sales Meetings, we manage it from "A to Z".


Where you come in:


  • If you are organized and dynamic looking to gain more experience in the event industry, we would love to have you support our global events calendar. _
  • You will plan and execute virtual and live events; including but not limited to tradeshows, congresses, internal meetings and webinars.
  • You will support the organization and execution of all event details such as design, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, audio/visual and attendee experience.
  • You will execute onsite logistics and maintain a solutionoriented mindset.
  • You will also support daytoday administrative tasks of the Global Events team including event budget tracking, accounts payable support (create purchase orders, submit payment requests, etc.), and report expenses while adhering to approved budget limitations.
  • You will oversee event supply stocks and place orders when necessary.
  • You will coordinate with legal, compliance and procurement teams for contract negotiations and execution.
  • You will manage the submission of event related creative documents to internal MLR (Medical, Legal & Regulatory) review and approval platform, Veeva Vault.

  • You have experience with conventions, logistics, housing bureaus, and professional/medical organizations and societies is a plus.

  • You are willing to be innovative and think outside of the box.
  • You are a team player, with a strong attention to detail and good presentation skills.
  • You are highly organized with a processoriented mindset allowing you to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Travel Required:


  • 25 to 50%

Experience and Education Requirements:


  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Flex Workplace:
Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).

Salary:

$61, $103,100.00
