Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Provide patient education and answer questions regarding treatment plans and medications
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records and dications
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and continuity of care
- Provide exceptional patient service and ensure patient satisfaction
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable, especially skilled nursing facilities
- Proficient in basic medical procedures and terminology
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Basic computer skills for electronic health record management
- Bilingual in spanish preferred
Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour
