Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
  • Schedule patient appointments and followup visits
  • Maintain electronic medical records using designated software systems
  • Verify insurance information and process patient payments
  • Complete patient registration for walkins & ensure all referrals and supporting documentation are scanned to the patient file
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a orthopedic or radiology office is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in using medical office systems like Epic or similar software
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
  • Experience providing medical administrative support is a plus

Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
