SUMMARY
The 405th Army Field Support Brigade has activated its Army Prepositioned Stock-2 (APS-2) sites in Mannheim, Germany.

This is the first time in the brigade's history that it will be outfitting an entire armored brigade combat team being deployed to Europe from the United States.

Under the direction of the Commander, U.S. European Command, U.S.

Army Europe and Africa, the APS-2 equipment and vehicles will be drawn from the Coleman work site in Mannheim, Germany, and managed by the Army Field Support Battalion-Mannheim, 405th AFSB.

The equipment will then be transported to Grafenwöhr Training Area in Germany, where it will be received and staged by the 405th AFSB's Army Field Support Battalion-Germany before being issued to the 1st ABCT, 3rd Inf.

Div. at an Equipment Configuration and Handoff Area in Grafenwöhr.

The Generator Inspector will be responsible for maintaining and inspecting diesel generators.
