Mariscos San Pedro is an upcoming Mexican seafood restaurant located in Pilsen by the owners of Taqueria Chingon, Obélix, and Le Bouchon set to open mid-June.


The Pilsen community is a thriving center of culture and hospitality, and our hope is that the property at 18th & Allport is a beacon for that culture.

Mariscos San Pedro and sister concepts 16 On Center's Punch House, Tack Room, and the renowned venue Thalia Hall continue to be a destination for fine people to gather around art, entertainment, and great food and beverage.


Position Summary
We are searching for
Servers to join our team, starting in early June. This role requires a passion for delivering exceptional service and cultivating a hospitable atmosphere for our patrons.

As a member of our esteemed team of servers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that guests receive attentive and exemplary service throughout their dining experience.

We take ourselves seriously, but also pride ourselves on fostering a work environment that is fun, balanced, and collaborative.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Welcome guests warmly at their tables with professionalism and courtesy
  • Provide detailed explanations of menu items, specials, and promotions
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar promptly
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, monitoring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns
  • Anticipate guests' needs and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
  • Collaborate with BOH and FOH team to coordinate timing of service and ensure smooth flow of operations
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and efficiency, seeking assistance from management when necessary
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and credit card transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, which may include resetting tables and restocking supplies when needed
  • Adhere to all restaurant policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure a positive and enjoyable dining experience for guests
  • Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking, food and beverage delivery, and payment processing
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, as well as basic wine and cocktail knowledge, is an asset
