Position Summary:

Working closely with relationship managers, providing administrative and accounting assistance to the Sports Management function by processing the payment of bills and recording tax-deductible expenses for clients; to include providing records to CPAs for preparing quarterly estimates and annual tax returns for clients.


Essential Functions:


  • Reviews bills for clients and processes payments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintains accurate and uptodate financial records using accounting software
  • Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Accurately records taxdeductible expenses for clients and provides records to their CPAs for preparing quarterly estimates and annual tax returns
  • Answers telephones and responds to inquiries from clients, vendors, or CPAs related to bill payment and tax reporting
  • Assists with research related to tax deductible expenses for clients
  • Prepares financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
  • Assists with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Conducts periodic audits of financial data to identify and correct discrepancies
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
  • Assist with tax preparation and coordinate with external auditors as needed
  • Answers incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner, addressing concerns, answering inquiries and/or directing callers to the appropriate area for assistance
  • Required regular attendance at the FineMark location designated in this job description, during regular business hours, or assigned hours for the position, is required. This is not a remotework position
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Required Education, Skills and Experience:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or other appropriate business discipline
  • A minimum of one year prior experience in an accounting position
  • Prior banking experience a plus
  • Proficiency in

Microsoft Office:
Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail

Close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus, with or without correction, are required to perform activities such as, viewing a computer monitor or written materials and documents; reading; writing; preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; close visual inspection. Some distance vision and color vision may be necessary.


Environmental Conditions. A person is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and only exposed to moderate noise; they may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or machinery such as a copier/printer.
