    Job Description2nd shift Manufacturing Shift Lead
    Payrate: up to $28/hr. based on experienceShift: 2 pm-10:30 pmLocation: Mentor, OH

    Leading Mentor, OH manufacturer of enclosures is seeking a 2nd shift Manufacturing Shift Lead.

    • 2nd shift Monday through Friday 2 pm – 10:30 pm

    Manufacturing Shift Lead Duties:
    • Enforce policies and procedures according to the corporate handbook
    • Lead the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, and fabricators
    • Coordinate work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals as determined by the supervisor
    • Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
    • Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards
    • Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures
    • Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers
    • Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs
    • Set up and adjust machines and equipment
    Manufacturing Shift Lead Requirements include:
    • 3 years of experience Leading a Dept or Supervising others.
    • 1 year of experience working night shift.
    • 3 years of experience within manufacturing.
    • 3 years of experience of measuring parts.
    • 3 years of experience with setting up machines.
