Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma (minimum)
  • Two years prior school experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand workrelated directions and instructions with sufficient skills to perform effectively.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised, be a selfstarter, wellorganized, and be able to multitask.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace apps: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.
  • Ability to be flexible in a fastpaced, changing environment.
  • Must possess and maintain valid Pennsylvania school clearances.

Job Overview:
The Secretary in this role assists the local administration by maintaining efficient administrative operations within the school.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
managing communication, organizing schedules, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the school's daily activities.


Responsibilities:


  • Secretary to Principals to which duties may include:
  • Type and file correspondence;
  • Schedule appointments and handle telephone calls;
  • Preparation of meeting agendas;
  • Monitor lesson plan submission;
  • Assist elementary students with morning announcements
  • Back up for front desk receptionist to include answering incoming telephone calls and inquiries and assisting visitors
  • Secretarial work as assigned by the local adminstration
  • Other tasks may be assigned by the Principals, Executive Assistant, Front Office Manager, and CEO.

Professional Obligations:


  • Enforce administration policies and rules governing students.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in developing, evaluating, and revising school programs.
  • Prepare reports on students and activities as required by the administration.
  • Attend staff meetings, and have the opportunity to serve on committees.
  • Adhere to Professional Standard of Conduct, including confidentiality, code of ethics, and appropriate internet use, as outlined in the Policy and Procedures manual and Staff Handbook.
  • Follow all approved board of trustee policies, including Financial and Purchasing and Attendance.
  • Perform all additional related duties and responsibilities as designated by the Local Administration, CEO, or Network Team.

Terms of Employment:
Twelve (12) months. Contract terms and salary to be determined by the Board of Trustees.
