    Certified Medical Assistant (CMA Float) - Family CareFast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant
    Sign-On for Eligible New HiresWork location: 2100 Hedgecoxe, Ste 100, Plano TX, CMA may be expected to float through Plano, Allen, Melissa, and/or McKinney)

    Work hours:
    Fulltime, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and 7:30am-5:00pm (occasionally)

    Internal Medicine Department highlights:
    Fast paced clinic with multiple providersGreat clinic and staffLunch is occasionally provided for meetings and staff appreciation Here's What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent (required)CMA
    • Current Medical Assistant Certification (required)One year of Medical Assistant experience within the last 3 years (required)EMR, Epic experience (preferred)ACLS or BLS (preferred)What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant ProcessConducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of positionCommunicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physicianProvides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rightsAbility to multitask May work in the front office as neededMay perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)Additional perks of being a Texas Health employeeBenefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.
