- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and report any mechanical issues or damages.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe driving record.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or loss during transportation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents that occur.
- Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside and outside, and ensure it is adequately fueled and serviced.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents within the past [7] years.
- Previous experience as a Driver or similar role is preferred.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays, if required.
