Job Summary:
This position is a safety-sensitive position requiring the scheduling and overall coordination of transit
services to ensure the timely and safe transportation of all passengers. Performance of these duties must

be conducted in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Local, Department of Transportation

system regulations and policies, including U.S. Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing

regulations. This position requires an individual that can work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent
customer service skills will be a requirement for this position.


Essential Functions:

  • Answers incoming calls promptly, gathers comprehensive information, and communicates
to facilitate timely pickup and drop-off of passengers.

  • Dispatches/communicates information to drivers, as needed using a twoway radio system or
alternate methods, as necessary, in order to facilitate the timely pick-up and drop-off of
passengers.

  • Provides schedule/route information and directions to drivers, as necessary.
  • Communicates with drivers and other individuals, such as appropriate personnel or vehicle
  • Ability to change out fareboxes and verify fares and document correctly

Desired Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Must possess and maintain a good driving record
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Customer Service experience is a must.
  • Computer Knowledge using Outlook, Excel
