The Kitchen Supervisor for our team plays a key role in the success ofWalnut Acres dining
program. This employee assists with the daily food production, working directly with the Director of Dining Services, and will execute daily operational and administrative tasks assigned by the Director of Dining Services; and assume responsibility for the kitchen team members in the absence of the Director of Dining Services.
This is an hourly position. Rate of pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu and recipe planning and development
- Aid in coordination of supply acquisition aligned with budgetary guidelines and menu cycles
- Preparation of food items, following a scheduled menu and recipes
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Assist preparation for inspections
Qualifications:
- Possession of current ServSafe certification
- High School diploma/GED; Associate's degree in culinary arts preferred
- 13 years of experience and/or training
