Overview:

Property Marketing Manager:

Execute marketing activities for the property as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing and the General Manager.

Create and execute local e-marketing campaigns and make changes to the property's web site. Coordinate initiatives with marketing partners and maintain applicable planning documents.


REPORTS TO:

Directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

On-going communication and collaboration with the property's General Manager, Director of Food and Beverage, Director of Golf, Director of SIS and The Academy, Director of Conference Services, Director of Rooms, Area Director of Revenue Management and Resort's Marketing and Advertising partners.

***: Manage and maintain property website. Plan and execute media strategy within budget levels. Coordinate social media efforts. Develop internal marketing communications. Coordinate e-marketing efforts. Maintain multiple event calendars. Write and coordinate tourism marketing grant efforts. Communicate with internal departments to develop a weekly activity guide. Run weekly, monthly and quarterly Sales Reports. Provide additional assistance as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manage the property's web site/sites.

  • Audit and make updates to the property websites.
  • Work with property departments to ensure web sections are accurate, current and
  • Ensure Internet Specials and other promotions are optimized for maximum sales.
  • Work with agencies to ensure the web site is optimized for search engine returns and PPC ads are providing maximum ROI.
  • Develop Reporting on website performance and ROI digital spend.
Execute agreed upon direct marketing campaigns.

  • Coordinate with agency on execution of primary direct marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate advertising campaigns digital, print, consumer and industry publications.

Public Relations:

  • Coordinate agreed upon public relation activities including press visits and events with outside agency.
  • Coordinate marketing and PR related to special events.

Manage Social Media accounts:

  • Facilitate social media web sites and campaigns.
  • Create/manage social media web sites including Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Coordinate social media influencer visits
  • Manage proactive posting or work with assigned agency and follow up to travel sites including Trip Advisor, Yahoo Travel, etc.
  • Work with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop content (photos, videos, text) to post to social media channels including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc.

Management of Third-party Sites:

  • Consistently audit and update thirdparty listings including CVB to ensure images, offers and descriptions are accurate.
  • Maintain updated content on 3rd party websites such as OTAs, OpenTable, Yelp etc.
  • Ensure CVENT Teneo, Helm Briscoe and other third parties have updated information and current promotions.

On Property Marketing and Sales Collateral:

  • Develop property signs, posters in room collateral ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Create sales/promotional flyers as needed for property outlets, sales events/tradeshows etc.
