• Basic knowledge of janitorial functions and duties
• Basic knowledge of commercial housekeeping functions and duties
• At least 1 year of experience using floor equipment (scrubber, buffer, waxer, walkbehind, sidebyside, or similar); knowledgeable in equipment use and proper safety protocols.
• Must be able to pass a very thorough criminal background check
• Must be able to work respectfully and cooperatively with others

• Work well with your Advantage Maintenance colleagues and onsite employees
• Handle chemicals, cleaning products, and heavy equipment for the stripping, buffing, and waxing processes.
• Follow workplace safety policies and procedures as established by your job site AND your employer
• Attend all training sessions as requested

• Ability to work full-time on dedicated schedule and spend most of the day standing or walking

• Ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 0 and up to 10 pounds of force constantly (in lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and otherwise moving objects).
• Long periods of standing and walking, with occasional sitting

• You will spend most of your time on your feet, performing cleaning tasks and walking throughout several buildings. Are you comfortable spending most of the day on your feet (with scheduled breaks, of course)?

• This location is a large, industrial facility. For safety purposes, employees are required to wear a hardhat, safety goggles, and steeltoed boots for most of their shift. Are you comfortable with this?
